Nádražní Street, Příbor
A sandstone life-sized baroque sculpture showing St John of Nepomuk. It is placed on a prismatic pedestal, the face of which includes an inscription with a double chronogram. The saint, clothed in traditional canonicals, holds a biretta in his left hand and looks at his raised right hand holding a cross with corpus. This high-quality sculpture work shows a certain similarity to the Statue of St Zacharias which has secondary been placed behind the parish church. The Statue of St John of Nepomuk was built thanks to the care of married couple of Mr Antonín Adam and Mrs Terezie Etzel in 1730.
In 1994, a copy of the Statue of St John of Nepomuk was created by an academic sculptor M. Machala while the original has temporarily been deposited in the subsidiary Church of Holy Cross.
