Romanesque chapel of St. Catherina [ Architectonic monument ]
A Romanesque chapel came into being in the mid-11th century as a part of the Castle of Znojmo, which was founded by prince Břetislav.
At the time it was called Chapel of the Virgin Mary, after 13th century Chapel of St. Kateřina.
At the beginning of the 18th century it was considerably rebuilt and the end of the 19th century there was even a brewery.
