DENCOAT - dispersed acrylate stone paint -
DENCOAT is single-component water based paint formulated on the basis of acrylate dispersion, it color-fast pigments, fine aggregates, biocide agents, coalescents, rheology modifiers and other additives modulating its properties. As a thinner, it contains water and small volume of solvents glycolether-based, it does not contain any aromatic solvents or varnish-petrol.
Use: Color-fast modifications of facing surfaces and protection against weather effects. A suitable surface is lime-cement and cement plaster, "břizolit” plaster, concrete, asbestos-cement and cement-flake surfaces, glass-cement structures and other building materials. The paint can also be used for more exacting coatings in interior, which requires increased holding force, abrasion resistance and resistance to occasional effects of water.
Properties:
Density: 1,4 - 1,5 kg/l
Weight solids: 60 - 66 %
pH 8 - 10
Diffusion resistance coefficient m : 6 500
The paint has very good covering power, long lifetime with maintaining the tinge and high holding force to silicate surfaces.
Surface preparation: The surface needs to be solid, cohesive, free of any mechanical or greasy impurities and old coating and rust residues, not cohesive to the surface. Heavily contaminated surfaces are recommended to be washed with power water. Suction surfaces are to be impregnated with PRIMER V. The surfaces should not be treated with lime coatings.
Paint application: The paint is to be applied with brush, roller or spraying in 2 layers with a minimum interval between the coatings of 8 hours. The paint is ready for direct use, not to be thinned prior to the application. It can be slightly thinned with water, if necessary, up to 5 % of weight. The temperature of air and surface for the application and paint drying should not fall below + 5 °C.
Spreading rate: 0,3-0,5 kg per square meter on smooth plasters, 0,8-1,1 kg per square meter on dragged works.
Packaging and storing: Packages with weight of 1,5- 45 kg. The product is to be stored in original packages at the temperature ranging from +5 to +25 °C, minimum storage life of 12 months after the production date. The paint must not freeze.
Safety and hygiene: DENACOAT does not require a hazard warning label in accordance with EC Directives. However, it can cause mucosa irritation to sensitive people and in case of more often contact with the skin, it could invoke adverse effects. Use personal protective equipment and follow the personal hygiene principles when working with the paint. When spraying the paint, use respiratory protection, ensure proper ventilation in closed working areas. In case of contact with eyes, rinse eyes properly with large volume of clean water and seek a medical treatment.
